"They Will Take You" works a bit differently than most RPs.
In "They Will Take You", there are specific events, which mark changes in time and occurrences within the game itself.
An event begins with a sub-board being produced. I will announce a new sub-board before every event in the "Announcements" board. When a new event occurs, there is an introduction post by me or a staff member on what is occurring.
Once this is posted, players are free to start RPing in response to the event. On occasion, "Special Events" will occur within an Event board, where players can sign up for a limited number of spots, and participate.
The significance of a "Special Event" is that it incorporates selected players into the plot DIRECTLY, making them of significant importance in either the next event, or the remainder of the current one.
NOTICE: There is a distinct possibility that the Head Administrator and myself will work toward a leveling system for characters. This would involve gaining experience or something similar in nature, which could be applied to character abilities, skills, items, and so on. If this system is enacted, there will be a thorough post in the announcements thread.
This system would involve gaining experience for each thread a character participates in, and gaining heightened experience, items, or abilities from "Special Event" threads.[/color]
